About
A 4-inch f/7 air-spaced apochromatic triplet with an Ohara FPL-53 centre element, hand-figured in-house and rated at 0.97 Strehl or better on Stellarvue's Zygo interferometer, with the centre of correction placed mid-visual-spectrum. It gives high contrast and reflector-like colour correction in a lightweight, fully baffled aluminium tube and dew shield, painted ultra-flat black inside.
