About
A robotic 3-inch focuser with a 76 mm clear aperture and 25 mm of drawtube travel, built on neither a Crayford nor a rack-and-pinion but an in-house mechanism that lifts 10 kg with no flex and no maintenance. An embedded backlash-free bipolar stepper and controller give accurate V-curves, both ends rotate for precise orientation, and the side of the body carries two switchable USB 2 ports, two switchable 12 V outputs at 4 A each, a temperature probe input and an RJ45 expansion port for the EZY Focus hand controller.
