About
A seven-position filter wheel CNC-milled from aluminium to just 19 mm thick, taking 2-inch mounted or 50 mm unmounted filters. A direct-drive stepper with optical encoders places each filter precisely, turning either way on a shortest-path algorithm. One USB 2 Type-B cable carries both power and control, and the M54 openings on both sides use screw-slide adapters that can be rotated to set camera or telescope orientation.
