About
A focus controller that drives either a stepper motor for absolute-position focusing or a DC motor by PWM duty cycle, switching mode from software and remembering the choice in EEPROM. It runs from a PC over USB or by hand with a digital encoder on the side that halves as a fine control at 1:10 when pressed, has firmware backlash compensation, a dual-colour speed LED, and takes a temperature probe so focus can be compensated for temperature.
