About
The first-generation Celestron Origin (SKU #12099) is an intelligent, all-in-one home observatory featuring a patented 6" Rowe-Ackermann Schmidt Astrograph (RASA) optical design with an ultra-fast f/2.2 focal ratio. It uses a Sony IMX178 color CMOS sensor and built-in AI algorithms to autonomously stack and process frames in real-time. Setup is automated via StarSense technology. Controlled via the Celestron Origin Powered by SkySafari app for iOS and Android. Now discontinued (first-generation).
