The widest-window member of Astronomik's three luminance filters, blocking ultraviolet and infrared while passing the whole visible spectrum for maximum signal in the L channel. Intended for optical systems already free of chromatic aberration; the narrower L-2 and L-3 suit correctors and less well corrected refractors.
