About
A 2-inch star diagonal whose mirror carries a dielectric coating of thin-film oxides — no aluminium or other metal — reflecting above 99% across the 4000-7000 angstrom photo-visual range with about five times less surface scatter than an aluminium mirror, and durable enough to be cleaned repeatedly. A recessed brass locking ring under the thumbscrew clamps eyepieces without marring them, and the body is threaded for 48 mm filters.
